The Launch

Saturday was the launch of Shadows in Sussex: The British Book Tour Mysteries Book 5. The room in Gibsons Public Library was full of enthusiastic readers and writers. I enjoyed the event, and I think the audience did as well. I talked about the research involved and showed some pictures of that part of England, and answered questions. Then we had tea, coffee and Victoria sponge cake.

The annual Art Crawl took place that weekend so there were many people scurrying from studio to studio to take in the fabulous art on the Sunshine Coast. It seemed the launch took on some of that buzz. Lovely to talk with readers who have followed Claire’s adventures in this series and ask about her as if she were a mutual friend. Love that!

The Podcast

I was interviewed by Donna Seebo, Lakewood, Washington, who has both a radio and television network. Our interview was broadcast on her radio show. She had read my book so carefully that she mentioned incidents in the book I’d forgotten! I was impressed by her understanding of the book. I don’t think she misses much. She’s been interviewing for over twenty years and is a master at her craft. Along with her talent at getting into the substance of a book, she discusses the book in detail without giving away the

ending.  A  talented woman                                                        User Avatar

Carley

For those who asked me about my dog, she is thriving. She has her own wardrobe, her own friends and social life and her own spot on the couch. I am as besotted as my protagonist Claire is with her Gulliver.
