February can be a month that drags on teasing us with a few warm days and then slaps us with ice, but this year, it skimmed through the days like a kid on skates. The hellebores are doing well, but then one day we had snow. Very confusing for the daffodils. Up and down skidding along, and now we are in the last week of February. How did that happen!
I have three books out this spring:
Bloomsbury to Barkerville: The Life of Florence Wilson (Heritage House Publishing) is getting a lot of attention, and the book is not released until March 31st. Pre-orders are coming in and invitations for me to do signings are slotting into my calendar. It’s exciting. I love that book! I love Florence! I plan to meet the many readers who discover her in the pages of my book and hear what they make of her.

The British Book Tour Mysteries Book 6 Harlequin edition
Harlequin Worldwide Mystery have put a delightful cover on Storms in the Cotswolds (by Emma Dakin, my other writing name). It is out to subscribers in March and open to the public at the end of May. https://www.harlequin.com/shop/books/9781335418432_storms-in-the-cotswolds.html
I enjoy their covers. They are so whimsical.
Murder in Ashton-on-Tinch: The British Book Tours Mysteries Book 7 (Camel Press) will be released March 10th

On to March
My March schedule includes a week at the Junior All Native Basketball Tournament in Langley. I know my granddaughter is playing and possibly my grandson as well. It should be a great family time. We are also celebrating my great grandson’s first birthday.
The month is full of buying and selling my house, which involves constant cleaning for the showings, and getting ready for April which, after the release of Bloomsbury to Barkerville will be busy. I’ll put up the schedule in the March newsletter. I’d write more but there is another showing in a couple of hours and I have to clean. Here is what I’m cleaning, if you are interested. Click Here to View Listings I have to tell you, it took two cleaning ladies and me all day to get the house to look like that. I’m not usually that tidy. I haven’t sold a house and bought another for twenty years. It’s quite an adventure.
All the best to you all.
